Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day!

I am so glad the sun is shining yet again today!

I got to sleep in this morning!

Then I opened a {{handmade}} Valentine card, ate some chocolate TRufFles {yum!} for breakfast, then sat on the couch catching up on episodes of the show Shear Genius, while watching my hub paint the living room!

I thought he deserved a nice pancake and sausage breakfast!

I also put an Asian/Swedish fusion {{{?} how is that for experimental!?!}} Pot Roast in the crock pot for dinner!

It is a Pot roast marinated in soy sauce, ginger, dijon mustard, salt, pepper & garlic.

I diced up some turnips, rutabaga and onions and threw it all in the crock.

I am going to serve it with some brown rice.

YUM!

Looks like I will be getting a little work out in before I enjoy my dinner...hmm, does it get any better then chocolate for breakfast and pot roast for dinner....man I should have had Lou's for lunch...not going to do it, that is just crazy talk! hahah!

My Best Friends Dog....

Many of you know my very best friend Angela, for those of you who don't here's a little background. Ang lives in Flagstaff Az with her wonderful husband Ross. She moved out to AZ as soon as we got out of high school, I miss her terribly. We have been Bf's since 6th grade.

Within the last year she has adopted Nigel the pug. Now Ang's family has a thing for pugs. Family get togethers are quite an event when everyone brings their pugs (most of her family lives here in IL)! I think there is...um...maybe 10 in the family plus 1-2 other dogs of a different breed that probably don't even know that they aren't Pugs. It is like a pug-free-for-all and one of the cutest sites you'll ever see! She should be out here in June and I will try to get a picture of one such event to show you.

In the meantime, I wanted to share some cute pictures of her new little guy, cuz they not only made me smile but also cracked me up!

The first picture is in Sedona with Ang, Ross & Nigel.

This is Ang and her Papa loading Nigel into the basket of her bike!!! LOL!!! Her Papa and Gram got back together after being divorced for like 30 years (or more) they now are so cute and live part time in Az and part time here...but that is another story! (this photo is also in AZ)

And yep you guessed it that darn dog stays in the basket!!! How cute is that?
Do you think I could teach my 22 pound old man cat Jackson to do that?
After all he acts like a dog!

I DELETTED THE WRONG BLOG!!!

After much deliberation on how exactly to respond to the last post, as the moderator and creator of this blog I have decided to remove it.

This is not out of anger or spite, just simply because this is **not** a private blog and there are many guests whom we know and don't know that come here to visit.

It is my opinion that any complaints or hurt feelings that need to be addressed should be done on an individual basis via telephone, email or whatever means anyone one finds necessary with the exception of this blog.

This blog was created for fun, family and friends not for arguing, insulting, name calling etc. I am not saying that the last post did that in any way I am saying that things could end up going in that direction.

It is much too hard to detect tone and feeling behind words that are written back and forth.
